BASIC INVITE
Spring is here and graduation season is upon us! I partnered with Basic Invite to chat about their unique graduation cards. All major life events should be acknowledged, but often times when I’m looking for the perfect card I can’t seem to find it! I usually wait until the veeery last minute and end up running around Target right before they close (oops!) looking for something, but Basic Invite makes things fun and easy. They have design your own graduation invitations, graduation hat invitations, and formal high school graduation invitations. They also have a beautiful range of stationary, wedding invitations, and business cards, and right now they’re offering 15% OFF EVERYTHING until the end of May (use code 15FF51 at checkout).
I’ve designed Basic Invite business cards, and they make it so easy to customize everything down to the smallest detail. Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE anything glittery and sparkly, and I was so happy to see that they had foil options for their cards! They offer gold, silver, and rose gold, and the foil can be printed flat or raised. There are over 180 different color options to choose from, and once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card, so the options are endless! They also have really cute names for their colors like “Soulmate” (my personal fave) “Lust,” and “Decadent” (to name a few). Everything is all about vibrancy and there are 40+ colors to choose from for the card envelopes (they’re peel and seal so they’re nice and secure). I love that there’s so much room for creativity and adding personal flair to the designs, and it’s what sets the Basic Invite brand apart from other online stationery companies.
Basic Invite is also one of the few websites that allows customers to order a printed sample of their product design, so you can view the color and paper quality before placing the final order. I don’t know about you, but I’m incredibly indecisive (especially when it comes to picking colors and fonts), so sampling a design before purchasing is a great option. Another service they provide is their Address Capturing. It allows customers to share a link on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (or any other social media platform) to request their friends and family’s addresses. The addresses will then be stored in the customer’s account and can be selected during the design process, and offers recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders.
I know you’ll fall in love with Basic Invite, just as I did. There are so many fonts, fun colors, and designs to choose from; it’s truly a creative experience. I hope you HAVE FUN finding the perfect card for that special someone in your life, or creating your dream invitation or business card, and getting inspired along the way.
Happy designing!
