A few months ago Julie Floro reached out to me to see if I’d be interested in doing a Lisa Frank inspired shoot, with lots of color and over-the-top makeup. I used to looove Lisa Frank when I was a kid, so it was fun to play into that childhood magic. Julie even brought her Great Dane, Zelda, along! It was definitely a struggle trying to get a picture where she wasn’t licking my face or almost knocking me over, BUT WE DID IT. It was great having the chance to work with another model, Leah Naomi (who I learned a lot from, because she’s the Queen of Posing), stylist Susan Padron, and makeup artist Sarah Elizabeth. We went to Percy Street Project and once the sun went down we got some amaaazing shots with the neon lights. If I’m being perfectly honest, I felt like my energy was a little low during this shoot, so I don’t feel like I was as animated/dynamic as I usually am, BUT I'm beyond happy with these photos and I can’t wait to work with Julie and her team again in 2020!
