These photos were taken on March 1st and it was my last shoot before quarantine. I was skipping and twirling around barefoot in the woods on a freeeeezing cold day - my teeth were chattering and it was definitely a challenge to not look cold (but it was worth it). I really love the mood of this shoot - it kind of has a melancholy vibe with hints of joy. Being barefoot and interacting with my surrounding was a healing and grounding experience, too. Before quarantine I was kind of feeling burned out by shoots, but being at home has allowed me to recharge and dream up new ideas, and now I can’t wait to create again with my photog friends!
